Things are moving along this month in the garden. We had a couple of April showers so the rain really helped the corn seeds to sprout and the tomato and pepper transplants have tiny little fruits on them!

The cherry tomato bush is loaded! These are going to be perfect for snacking in May! We’ve also seen several Mucho Nacho Jalapenos on the pepper plants too.

The corn is also coming up nicely! In between each row I planted a row of sunflowers this week. Hoping those will bring some pollinators to the garden plus the added benefit of cut flowers!! Yay! I cannot wait!

Now for the garden harvest update:
I picked A LOT of carrots this weekend! Look for a post soon to see what I did with all of them!
Radishes 1 pound 10 ounces
Lettuce 15 ounces (we were able to eat a lot of butter crunch lettuce before it bolted)
Turnips 4 pounds 15 ounces
Carrots 5 pounds 8 ounces
Cabbage 1 pound 8 ounces
