Layer your ingredients in your bread machine according to the manufacture's instructions. This is very important and will affect the outcome of your recipe. My bread machine manual instructs to put all of the wet ingredients into the bread pan first, following by the flour, salt, and sugar. It then instructs to make a small well in the flour for the yeast. It is important for the yeast not to touch the salt, sugar or liquid.
Select the basic white bread course with a medium crust if applicable and press "start."
When the machine is done, all the bread to sit for 5 minutes. Carefully, remove the bread pan from the machine using oven mitts as it will be hot. Invert the bread pan and gently shake the pan to remove the loaf. Allow the loaf to cool on a wire rack. Wrapped bread can be stored on the counter for up to 4 days.
Notes
When measuring flour, spoon the flour into your measuring cup and level off. This prevents your flour from being densely packed and allows for more accurate measuring.
